Dubai’s hotel sector continues to thrive with over 2,700 new rooms added in the first half of 2024, according to Cavendish Maxwell. The city now boasts 716 hospitality establishments with nearly 149,750 rooms.
An additional 10,000 rooms are set to hit the market by the end of 2025, mainly in the luxury segment. Four and five-star hotels are seeing the fastest growth, driven by a surge in high-end tourism.

Occupancy rates remain strong, with Dubai achieving 78% in H1 2024, surpassing pre-Covid levels. Western Europe remains the top source of tourists, with the city welcoming over 9.31 million visitors. Average Daily Rates (ADR) also reached a six-year high at AED720, reflecting the city's growing demand for premium hospitality.
With 15,000 more rooms set to open by 2027, Dubai's hospitality sector is on track to maintain its role as a key driver of the economy.
