Dubai authorities have announced an extensive plan to ensure public safety and efficient transportation during the Eid Al Adha holidays. From Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, public parking will be free across the city, excluding multi-level parking terminals.
To accommodate the expected increase in travel, the city will deploy 104 trains, 16,981 luxury limousines, 13,867 taxis, 1,240 public buses, and 43 marine transport vehicles. Additionally, four traffic diversion units and seven traffic management and public transport control centres will be operational.
The Command and Control Centre will operate around the clock to handle emergency calls and ensure rapid response. Residents are advised to contact 999 for emergencies and 901 for non-emergency inquiries. Violations can also be reported via the ‘Police Eye’ service on the Dubai Police website.
Authorities urge the public to adhere to safety guidelines, including observing road speed limits and supervising children in public areas, to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday for all.
