Dubai’s property market saw its best performance in 2024 especially in the super-luxury segment. Six high-end homes alone sold for a combined total of Dh1.33 billion with the priciest being a Dh275 million Palm Jumeirah apartment. Other notable sales included a Dh240.5 million off-plan villa on Jumeirah Bay and a Dh216 million Palm Jumeirah villa.
In total, six residences sold for over Dh200 million including four on Palm Jumeirah, one on Jumeirah Bay, and one at Dubai Hills Estate. Unexpected high-value sales also occurred in Dubai Healthcare City 2, the Dubai Water Canal and Business Bay.
The demand for super-luxury homes continues to rise with developers looking to meet the market with projects on Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai Islands and Dubai South. Dubai Hills Estate also saw significant sales with three homes among the Top 19 including one for Dh200 million.
Developers are pushing the boundaries of luxury with new projects potentially setting future price records. The top luxury communities in 2024 were Dubai Marina (average sales price: Dh2.55 million) and Dubai Hills Estate (average villa sales price: Dh16.07 million).
