Dubai is set to host the two-day Future Food Forum from October 2-3, bringing together industry leaders, government officials, and academia to explore cutting-edge technologies and sustainable strategies in the food and beverage (F&B) sector. Organized by the UAE Food & Beverage Business Group, the forum is held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Economy and in partnership with the Dubai Chamber.
Now in its sixth year, the Future Food Forum will feature the UAE’s FoodTech Valley, Abu Dhabi Food Hub, and DP World as partners. With the GCC F&B sector projected to reach $128.2 billion by 2029, the forum’s theme, "Future Consumer, Future Government, and Future Food," will drive discussions on key topics like sustainability, circular economy, and digital transformation.

The forum has become a crucial space for shaping policies within the food sector, serving as a bridge between government, industry leaders, and policymakers. This year, the debut of the “Foodverse,” a metaverse-based platform, will bring an innovative touch, revolutionizing networking and product presentations.
To increase the UAE’s food sector contribution to GDP by $10 billion and create 20,000 jobs, the forum aligns with the country’s long-term economic roadmap. Topics like Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), green manufacturing practices, and international trade agreements will also be addressed to support sustainable growth.
