Dubai-based Emirates airline has been crowned the World’s Best Airline in a recent Telegraph Travel study, surpassing 90 global carriers based on over 30 criteria including punctuality, baggage allowance, route network and in-flight meal quality.

The study highlighted Emirates for its exceptional services noting it operates the largest fleet of double-decker Airbus A380s, providing spacious and comfortable travel. Its premium economy class is praised as the best in the sky and first class boasts a top wine list and onboard showers.

Emirates serves 140 cities across 77 countries and was voted the best long-haul carrier by 30,000 readers. In 2024, Emirates has already received 19 awards including seven from the Skytrax World Airline Awards, showcasing its inflight entertainment system, ice which offers over 6,500 channels in multiple languages.

The airline's first and business class experiences set industry standards featuring chauffeur services, premium lounges and luxurious amenities. Premium economy class also stands out with spacious seating and thoughtful features, available on 21 routes worldwide.
