The UAE has taken another bold step in its space ambitions by forming the Supreme Space Council, as part of its vision to lead the way in space exploration. The UAE Cabinet, chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has approved the establishment of this new council, which will oversee the country's space policies and strategies.

The Supreme Space Council will define national priorities, approve space regulations, and guide investments in public and private sector space activities. It will also work closely with international partners to strengthen space security and technological independence.

The UAE Space Agency will act as the General Secretariat, supporting the council with technical expertise and administrative tasks.

This strategic move highlights the UAE’s commitment to being at the forefront of space exploration locally and globally.
