Dubai has announced its new Education 33 strategy, aiming to place the city among the top 10 global hubs for learning. The plan includes adding 49,000 affordable school seats, attracting international universities, and boosting education tourism tenfold by 2033.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) revealed that the strategy, endorsed by Dubai’s leadership, will provide students with world-class, personalised education while embracing Emirati values and the city’s rich diversity.

“This forward-thinking strategy reflects Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision for future generations to thrive in an ever-evolving world,” said Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA. The plan is part of Dubai’s broader D33 Economic Agenda and Social Agenda 33.
