Dubai’s RERA Launches Tayseer Initiative for Property Owners to Settle Service Fee Dues

Dubai Offers 6-Month Instalment Plan for Property Owners to Clear Service Fee Dues; 19 OA Companies Join Initiative

Dubai property owners behind on service fee payments now have the option to clear their dues in flexible instalments under the Tayseer initiative by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA).

Through this plan, defaulters can pay off outstanding service fees over a minimum of six months, easing financial burdens and stabilizing the real estate sector. During this period, no enforcement actions will be taken against them.

So far, 19 owner association (OA) companies have joined the initiative, highlighting a sector-wide commitment to financial sustainability. This move comes amid rising service fees and recent strict regulations that prevent owners from selling properties without clearing dues.

The initiative follows discussions between RERA and OA management companies, with a two-month registration window for property owners to enroll. This measure also ensures funds for community maintenance, especially after the April 2024 rains caused widespread property damage.

According to Mohammed Ali Al Bidwawi, Acting CEO of RERA, the Dubai Land Department remains committed to introducing solutions that align with market needs and investor interests.
