A record 50-million square foot community is to redefine the strip of land between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The scheme comes after a Dh2.47 billion land purchase agreement between Mira Developments and Abu Dhabi Ports Group.
Situated in the Al Mamoura area on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi road, the development is a Dh55 billion overall investment. It will be one of the emirate's biggest urban developments.
The complex will incorporate residential neighborhoods, luxury hotels, schools, universities, a business complex, and a golf course. The largest shopping mall in the region will be its centerpiece. The mall will host various brands in partnership with top international fashion and lifestyle brands.
A spokesperson stated, "This project is a long-term investment in the UAE's future.†The site is specially connected and will be a crucial link between two of the country's most significant economic hubs.
The area has major benefits for future businesses and residents. Al Maktoum International and Zayed International Airport are both located within a radius of 50 km. It provides excellent connections for local and international travel.
Construction may starts anywhere between the next year to a decade from now. This flexible timeline helps developers to align project phases with market demands. The phased strategy will promote gradual transformation while maintaining quality standards.
