Dubai Remains a Top Destination Without the Pressures of Overtourism

Experts Praise Dubai’s Ability to Handle Tourism Growth with Well-planned Infrastructure and Diverse Entertainment Options

Dubai is unlikely to face overtourism in the near future according to industry experts. Unlike cities like Venice and Barcelona, Dubai is well-planned with attractions spread across various areas reducing the risk of overcrowding.

Aradhana Khowala, CEO of Aptamind Partners, noted that Dubai's infrastructure and diverse entertainment options help prevent congestion in any one spot, a common issue in smaller European cities.

With a population of 3.6 million and 17.1 million visitors last year, Dubai effectively manages its tourism load without overwhelming residents or resources. The city's continuous innovation and expansion of attractions ensure it remains a top destination without the pressures of overtourism.

Khowala also praised Dubai’s government for its efforts to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for tourists stating that the city’s marketing and delivery of unique experiences set it apart globally.

As Dubai continues to evolve and introduce new attractions, experts agree that it can comfortably welcome more tourists without facing the challenges of overtourism.
