Dubai to Build First Professional Baseball Park in the Middle East

A New Era for Sports in the Region

Dubai is gearing up to host the Middle East’s inaugural professional baseball stadium at The Sevens complex on Al-Ain Road. With a capacity of 6,500 seats, this state-of-the-art park will bring major league baseball to a region that spans from Morocco to India.

Inspired by Yankee Stadium, the new ballpark will feature a cutting-edge synthetic playing surface tailored to withstand Dubai’s intense heat. Its advanced LED lighting system will ensure optimal visibility, enhancing the game experience for fans and players alike.

Baseball United, the organization behind the park, is dedicated to expanding the sport’s reach across the region. The field will be named after Barry Larkin, a Baseball Hall of Famer and co-founder of Baseball United. Dubai will kick off its baseball journey with international tournaments this November and February, setting the stage for a full league season.
