A UAE-based real estate company has made its first entry into the Omani market by acquiring 1 million square feet of land in the Dhofar Governorate, with plans for a large-scale master development in Salalah.
The announcement was made during a three-day industry retreat in Salalah, attended by over 100 professionals including real estate brokers, architects, and executives from luxury lifestyle brands. The event highlighted the region’s strong potential for tourism-led investment and branded residential communities.
Salalah’s appeal lies in its distinct climate and year-round tourism, particularly during the lush monsoon season (Khareef), which attracts visitors from across the region. This natural advantage, combined with growing demand for premium living spaces, positions the city as a promising hub for new lifestyle-focused developments.
The upcoming project is set to combine high-end design, branded residences, and sustainable planning, aiming to create a landmark destination that caters to evolving regional real estate trends.
