Wynn Resorts invested $357 million into its UAE joint venture acquiring a 40% share of the 155 acres on Island Three where Al Marjan is located. This purchase means the joint venture now owns the land for Wynn Al Marjan as well as over 70 additional acres for future development, according to Billings.
Billings expressed optimism about the UAE's market potential highlighting its strong expatriate population and proximity to major markets like India and Europe. As Wynn Al Marjan progresses, the company expects it to deliver high returns, solidifying its position in the growing UAE gaming market.
