Dubai Land Department has announced that private property owners along Sheikh Zayed Road (Trade Centre Roundabout to Water Canal) and Al Jaddaf can now convert their properties to freehold ownership. This move is open to all nationalities and applies to 457 eligible plots—128 along Sheikh Zayed Road and 329 in Al Jaddaf.
Verify eligibility via the “Dubai REST” app.
Submit an application to the Dubai Land Department for land evaluation.
Pay a 30% conversion fee based on the land’s valuation (Gross Floor Area).
