Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) welcomed 2.65 million attendees in 2024—a 7% rise from 2023—powered by 378 events, marking 26% annual growth. The booming MICE sector alone hosted 135 events (up from 107 in 2023), drawing 2.03 million participants, including 942,000 international visitors (46%).
Exhibitor numbers hit 58,665, with 77% from abroad, reinforcing Dubai’s global appeal. DWTC-organized events attracted 590,000 attendees, of which 41% were international, and 19,062 exhibitors (79% international).
Sector highlights included:
Healthcare: 465,000 attendees (+69%)
Food & Hospitality: 283,000 attendees (+25%)
IT (GITEX Global): 281,000 attendees (+8%)

Conferences doubled to 25, pulling nearly 90,000 participants, while 14 international meetings attracted 104,000 attendees, tripling 2023’s figures.
DWTC’s global arm, KAOUN International, expanded events to Morocco and Singapore, while Dubai Exhibition Centre hosted 24 events with 128,000 attendees. Its AED 10B expansion aims for 180,000 sqm space by 2031, hosting 65,000 daily.
